General Bench Information
We manufacture 3 ranges of benches:
- The Oxford (heavy-weight)
- The Woodstock (medium-weight)
- The Burford (light-weight)
We offer a choice of arms, leg and back rail styles for each bench. See pictures
In addition to the above we can modify any design and special commisions are undertaken. We also offer a treatment service.

All benches are made from IROKO, a very durable hardwood and should give a 30 year service. All jointing is by traditional mortice and tenon and all structural joints are pegged using iroko dowels and all joints are glued using top quality resin adhesives.
All screws are stainless steel and are hidden below glued in plugs that are sanded flush. This ensures maximum service life (stainless steel screws will not rust and push out the plugs).
We glue and screw shaped braces between the legs and rails (both front and rear) on all benches.
All the above benches have a seat height of 455mm except the child size which has a seat height of 300mm.
All benches come fully assembled and ready for use.
